The sand was there, the patterns were there, the plan was there, but there was never a lull when people wondered "Okay, what now?"
We're home and unpacking, and found the materials. *sorry*
I don't guess the zoo would want colored sand on their flagstone...
If anyone was particularly interested in seeing or doing that, please e-mail me and maybe we could do it here at the house before they fly away on Monday. We could try to arrange a time.
